Honoring the real queens

Ms. Empowering Universe is a special honorary pageant title created by AmPowering to recognize extraordinary women who have faced some of life’s greatest battles — and emerged with courage, resilience, compassion and purpose.
These women have experienced circumstances that could have changed the course of their lives. Yet they chose not only to rise, but to use their experiences to help others rise with them.
They are the real queens we are honored to crown.
A crown that cannot be bought
No pageant fee. No registration fee. No fee for the title.
Ms. Empowering Universe is different from a traditional pageant category. The title is honorary and reserved for deserving recipients whose journeys embody extraordinary resilience and whose actions demonstrate a commitment to making life better for others.
We believe someone who has already paid an unimaginable price through life’s challenges should not have to pay us for the privilege of being recognized.
We don’t ask these women to earn a crown from us. We recognize the crown they have already earned through life.
From survival to impact
It is what she chooses to do with her survival.
What makes a Ms. Empowering Universe recipient extraordinary is not simply what she has survived. She uses her story, strength and voice to create a better path for someone else.

Each year, a different life challenge in the spotlight.
- 2023
Cancer warriors
Our inaugural Ms. Empowering Universe recognition honored six extraordinary women who had battled cancer. Their journeys represented courage, perseverance and hope — reminding us that strength can shine even through life's darkest chapters.
- 2024
Women with disabilities
In 2024, the platform celebrated women living with disabilities — recognizing ability, determination and the power to challenge limitations and perceptions. Dhara Shah was crowned our 2024 Ms. Empowering Universe winner.
- 2025
Domestic violence survivors
In 2025, we honored survivors of domestic violence. These crowns represented far more than pageantry. They honored women who found the courage to reclaim their lives, rebuild their futures and use their voices to bring awareness, hope and strength to others.
- 2026
Mental health survivors
For 2026, Ms. Empowering Universe is dedicated to mental health survivors. We will recognize women who have navigated significant mental health challenges and are using their lived experiences and resilience to inspire, advocate, support or create positive change for others. Their journeys remind us that courage is not always visible — and some of life's greatest victories happen within.
Who is an Empowering Queen?
She has fallen and risen. Fought and survived. Hurt and healed.
An Empowering Queen isn’t defined by perfection. Most importantly, she understands that her journey can become a source of hope for someone else. We look for women who demonstrate:

Ms. Empowering Universe is an honorary title. No pageant or title fee is charged. Recipients are selected based on their stories, resilience, contributions and alignment with the mission of AmPowering.
And we want your story to remind someone else that there is hope.
